IIT-Madras celebrates its diamond jubilee this year. To commemorate the milestone, IIT Madras Alumni Association (IITMAA) is organising a thought conclave on September 29.
‘IITMAA Sangam — Confluence for Impact’ will bring thought leaders under a single roof from across disciplines and walks of life. The speakers will be from sectors such as technology, banking, digital, healthcare and space travel, powering India’s emergence as a 21st century leader on the global stage. Some of the speakers are Kiran Bedi, Rakesh Sharma, Anil Kumble, Indu Bhushan, Usha Thorat and Rana Daggubati.
As part of the programme, the association will also give away awards to alumni and faculty involved in projects of social impact. The association will also invite proposals from non-profit organisations in various sectors such as education, skill development and healthcare to involve IITM alumni to support with mentoring, funding and volunteering.
