Senior IAS officer and one of the accused in the illegal mining case Y. Srilakshmi surrendered at a CBI court here on Thursday.
The court had earlier cancelled her interim bail and asked her to surrender and submit her medical examination reports.
An ailing Srilakshmi came to the court at Nampally here in a wheelchair and surrendered.
She was arrested in November 2011 in the illegal mining case involving Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) and was accused of passing orders granting lease of about 68 acres in Obulapuram village in Ananthapur district to OMC illegally.
The other accused in the case, Gali Janardhana Reddy, former Karnataka Minister and BJP leader, his brother-in-law and Managing Director of OMC B. V. Srinivasa Reddy, and the former Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation V. D. Rajagopal were arrested earlier.
