Sikkim will host the second international flower show to showcase the floral potential of the Himalayan State.
The five-day long show will commence on February 23 and will host 15,000 different varieties of flowers.
“Flower-growers from Australia, New Zealand, Holland, the US, Taiwan, Nepal and Thailand have confirmed their participation while Delhi , Karnataka, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and seven North-eastern states will also participate.
In all 25 international flora companies, 30 national flora companies and 190 States flower growers’ organisations, associations and groups have confirmed their participation, and official release said.
