About 70 per cent of MBA students of the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad, who will graduate this year, have been recruited in the on-going campus placements, according to its Director R K Mishra.
"We are confident that the remaining students of the class of 2016 will also be placed by the end of February, 2016,’’ he told newspersons at a press conference held here on Monday. The class has a total strength of 300 students. The highest salary offered so far is Rs 8.1 lakh per annum while the average salary is above Rs 5 lakh.
Nearly 100 companies including majors such as Deloitte, TCS, Oracle, ONGC, Axis Bank, Franklin Templeton and Writer Corporation have been recruiting from the institute.
In 2015, IPE had achieved 100 per cent placements for entire batch of 200 students, he added.
