In a single mission, 20 satellites will be launched into orbit on June 22, according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
The satellites include the 1.5 kg Sathyabamasat from Sathyabama University and the 1 kg Swayam from the College of Engineering, Pune.
PSLV-C34 will be launched from the second launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota, on June 22 at 9:25 am. It will be the fourteenth flight of PSLV in ‘XL’ configuration with the use of solid strap-on motors.
Total weight The co-passenger satellites are from the US, Canada, Germany and Indonesia as well as two satellites from Indian university/academic institutes. The total weight of all the 20 satellites carried onboard PSLV-C34 is about 1,288 kg, according to an ISRO press release.
