Paradise Food Court, known for its Hyderabadi Biryani and kebabs, has embarked on a major expansion drive.
Aiming at the Indian community in Dubai, Singapore and Canada, the management of Paradise chain is evaluating the opportunity of setting up restaurants there by next year.
Expansion plansFrom a base in Hyderabad, it has expanded to 16 restaurants over the past few years, setting six outlets in the IT-centric city of Bengaluru, and one in Chennai.
While the company is close to opening its first one in Visakhapatnam and another one at Whitefield, the IT hub in Bengaluru, it is eyeing expansion into western and northern parts of the country.
“We are not chasing any numbers nor do we have any targets in terms of number of stores. But we will slowly and steadily expand identifying the right place to locate our stores,” said Gautam Gupta, Director of Paradise Food Court.
“While we have begun to offer home delivery through a tie-up with Swiggy, we are working to expand our presence teaming up with Zomato. There is a huge customer base seeking home delivery and we plan to serve them through such tie-ups,” Gupta said.
The Chain is organising a Kebab festival for non-vegetarian and vegetarian food lovers. One of the specialities offered during the festive times is a dish popularised during the Wajid Ali Shah regime. It is called Lucknowi Galauti kebab, which is soft and ideal for those with weak teeth/gums.
Vijay Anand Bakshi, Corporate Chef of Paradise, said: “ For a chef, every dish is special, and yet we have chosen about 15 new dishes to share with food lovers to be offered during the Kebab festival.”
