IVI opens vision centre in Chennai
India Vision Institute (IVI), an independent, not-for-profit trust, has opened a vision centre at Palavakkam, Chennai. The centre was opened by K Pandiarajan, Minister for Tamil Official Language and Tamil Culture, and Susan Grace, Australian Consul General in Chennai. The Australian Consulate General has provided support to the centre’s establishment under its direct aid programme. To date, IVI has screened 11,099 adults and 67,577 children in Tamil Nadu.
