The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been given permission to take possession of properties worth Rs 122 crore in the illegal assets case of Kadapa MP and YSR Congress Party Chief.
The Adjudicating Authority of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on Wednesday approved two separate attachment orders for assets worth Rs 51 crore and Rs 71 crore attached by the ED last year.
The assets, which were approved to be taken over, included 13 acres of land of Janani Infrastructure, Rs 14.5 crore worth fixed deposits of Jagathi Publications, 35 acres of land and Rs 3 crore fixed deposits of Hetero Drugs, 96 acres of land and Rs 3 crore fixed deposits of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd and 34 villas in Boulder Hills near Gachibowli here.
