BJP President Amit Shah accompanied by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Minister of State for Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan on Wednesday arrived at Apollo Hospitals to enquire about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's health who has been undergoing treatment for the last 21days.
BJP state President Tamilisai Soundararajan and other senior leaders from the party's state unit also came to the hospital.
They were in the hospital for nearly 20 minutes. They left without speaking anything to mediapersons.
Jaitlet in his tweet said, "Visited Apollo Hospital Chennai today. I wish J Jayalalithaa Ji, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu a speedy recovery."
Shah tweeted saying, "Visited Apollo Hospital in Chennai to enquire about the health of Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa Ji. I wish and pray for her speedy recovery."
