Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will embark on Sunday on a two-day official visit to the United Kingdom (UK). This will be followed by four-day visit to Zurich in Switzerland, an official release said.
During his official visit to UK, Jaitley will meet his UK counterpart and Secretary of Exchequer George Osborne in London on Monday. He will also participate in three different investors' meet organised by Goldman Sachs, Mastercard and Confederation of Indian Industry and Kotak Mahindra Bank among others.
On Tuesday, Jaitley will participate in India-UK Bilateral meet and Economic and Financial Dialogue (EFD).
During his stay in Zurich, Jaitley will participate in various World Economic Forum programmes and meetings.
Jaitley is leading a large Indian delegation mainly consisting of captains of Indian trade and industry who in turn will also meet their counterparts from different participating countries to explore possibilities of trade and investment among others.
After completing his six day official visit to UK and Switzerland, the Finance Minister will return to Delhi on January 24, the release added.
