Japan has started issuing multiple entry visas for short term to Indians, which could lead to more business and leisure travel between the two countries.
The new regime will allow Indian visitors to spend up to 15 days on a visit, with the visa likely to be valid for three years.
In a statement, the Japan National Tourism Organisation – Singapore said that last year about 75,000 Indians visited Japan.
Neelu Singh, COO, Ezeego1.com said, “The multiple entry visa will certainly attract Indian travellers to East Asia, which is a growing holiday destination. More importantly, this will provide an impetus to business travellers from India.”
