Jet Airways has entered into another agreement with Boeing Company for purchase of 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

The delivery is to start in 2025. The exact value of the deal was not immediately available.

The Boeing website says that the list price of the Boeing 737-700 MAX ranges from $96 million to $129.9 million for a Boeing 737-MAX 10 although aircraft manufacturers are known to give huge discounts when multiple aircraft are ordered.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 retails at $117.1 million.

Jet Airways had placed the first order for 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in 2015 and a second order for another 75 in April this year.

With the latest order, Jet Airways will eventually have a fleet of 225 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

In different configurations, the Boeing 737 MAX can seat between 138 and 230 passengers and can fly non-stop between 7,130 km (for the Boeing 737 MX 7) and 6,110 km for the Boeing MAX 10.

Vinay Dube, the airline’s Chief Executive Officer’, had told BusinessLine that the new aircraft “will have some new shiny stuff on board, a gizmo here and a gadget there,” without getting into specifics on what changes the airline is likely to make to the interiors of the aircraft.
