The technical consultancy firm Kitco has been entrusted with the task of preparing a project report for setting up of a super speciality hospital in Seychelles, funded by the Centre through Exim Bank. The project was awarded through competitive bidding.
The Seychelles International Specialists Medical Centre will have superspeciality wings such as cardiology, nephrology, specialist surgeries, orthopaedics etc. The project also aims to develop Seychelles into a destination for medical tourism.
Kitco will submit the technical and financial feasibility of the project within 45 days. The report will help revive a hospital that was constructed 10 years ago but could not be completed. The company is an empanelled consultant under Exim Bank for preparation of DPRs and for Project Management Consultancy.
“Bagging the Seychelles hospital project is an important milestone for Kitco in expanding its operations at a global level and we look forward to getting diverse projects from across the world,” Cyriac Davies, Managing Director said. This is the second major project in healthcare sector bagged by the company. It had earlier submitted a DPR in 2017 for setting up a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing unit in Vietnam, he added.
