Registration for the fourth edition of KPIT national innovation and design contest is on. The IT consulting company is inviting science and engineering students from colleges across the country to KPITSparkle 2018.

The last date for registration and submission of form and documents for the pre-qualification round is August 31, 2017.

Shortlisted participants from the pre-qualification stage will be invited to build working prototypes and present them at an exhibition to be held at the Deccan College Ground in Pune in January next year, the company has said. The winners will be awarded a total cash prize of ₹21 lakh.

The competition this year will focus on development of solutions for the energy and transportation sectors.

According to Ravi Pandit, co-founder, Chairman and Group CEO of KPIT, the company will, through KPITSparkle 2018, harness innovation in youth and promote indigenous design.
