Former liquor baron Vijay Mallya will not appear before the Enforcement Directorate on Saturday. He has sought time till May to present himself before the investigating agency. The ED has already extended the summons twice and is yet to decide if it will agree to Mallya’s request a third time.
ED had first asked Mallya to appear at the investigating agency’s office in Mumbai on March 18 and then extended it to April 2.
