Our Bureau Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) on Thursday launched a specialised training division, Prime Focus Academy of Media and Entertainment Studies (PFAMES).
The academy will offer a 10-month integrated training programme for entrepreneurial skill-building across eight cities in line with MESC’s mandate to create a workforce of 11.74 lakh skilled workersby 2022.
For its inaugural batch, PFAMES will admit 100 students each in its 12 centres across India through an entrance exam.
MESC has also mandated Prime Focus Ltd, an integrated media services powerhouse, to have an operational platform to run these courses.
