Chennai-based Miot Hospitals has launched the Miot Institute for Cancer Cure.
The cancer institute is part of the 13-floor MIOT International facility, built near its existing hospital campus.
The institute promises to address the lacunae in existing cancer care.The centre will offer all modes of cancer therapies and treatment, said the release.
It has an oncology laboratory that specialises in molecular diagnostics, which “help specialists personalise medicines and treatment. Miot also has imported an advanced radiotherapy machine TrueBeam.
The cancer centre promises an ambience that is “calm and peaceful and an approach that is confident and compassionate which gives patients peace of mind and dignity to stay positive.”
The Miot hospital group has invested Rs 280 crore on Miot International, which is a “premium” facility aimed at patients from across the globe. The proposed 500-bed facility was inaugurated in May with a cardio unit. Gastro unit is expected to be added later.
