The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Madurai Zone, and Young Indians, Madurai, the youth arm of CII, organised a one-day event to promote entrepreneurship among women in the city.
Women achievers in various sectors shared their experiences with the students of Lady Doak College and urged them to think out of the box and be aggressive to become successful entrepreneurs.
Shobana Ramachandran, Managing Director, TVS Srichakra Ltd, inaugurating the event, said that women should persevere and grab every opportunity in order to achieve success in their profession.
Mridula Ramesh, ED, Sundaram Textiles Ltd; Vichitra Rajasingh, CEO, Bell Hotels & Puppy’s; Chamundi Bose, Advocate, Madras High Court (Madurai Bench); Raji Balasubramanian, Senior Faculty, TIME; R Divyeah, Proprietrix, Divyeah Associates; Haripriya Aravind, Medical Officer, Aravind Eye Hospital; Swarnaprada Jayaraj, MD, Storytrails; and Rachna Binani, Director, KIDSS Talk P Ltd also spoke.
