Ten persons were arrested for indulging in illegal mining of sandstones in Bihar’s Rohtas district.
On a tip off, a joint team of police and forest department officials had conducted raid yesterday at Gopi Bigha mines and arrested 10 persons for illegal mining of sandstones, Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj said.
They also seized four JCB machines and four dumper from their possession. Investigation is on in regard to illegal trade in the area, the SP said.
