At least 20 people are feared to have been killed in a massive landslide at Mirik in Darjeeling district of West Bengal. 10 more are missing, local sources said.
Heavy incessant rainfall in the region has resulted in landslide, sources say.
"Anguished about loss of lives in Mirik/Kalimpong. Home secretary already in North Bengal... Am monitoring situation closely and will rush there after meet in Murshidabad," West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted.
