Mumbai North East constituency's Aam Aadmi Party candidate Medha Patkar said that 2.46 lakh voter names have been deleted from her constituency.
She said that she will approach the Election Commission over the issue.
Patkar, however, said that how many of this omissions are genuine and how many malafide is open to inspection.
The social activist turned political aspirant also claimed that her rivals were indulging in distributing money to swing votes.
"In Mulund and Bhandup, they switched off the lights for 15-20 minutes in phases and distributed money on Wednesday. In the slum-dominated Shivajinagar area, they were distributing money openly," she said adding that a complaint has been registered with the EC.
She further claimed that she has numbers of the vehicles using which money was distributed.
"The are indulging in malpractices like distributing voter slips to people with party insignia and candidate picture printed on it, " Patkar added as she flashed those slips as proof.
The EC has barred political parties from distributing self-styled voter slips as this may wrongly influence the voter.
Patkar voted in her home constituency of Chembur (she is not fighting from here).
When asked who she voted for, Patkar said, "till last elections I used form 49-O (rejecting all candidates). This time I voted for our AAP candidate Sunder Balakrishnan."
