Three kg of smuggled gold was seized from a Sri Lankan national at the Kochi airport on Sunday.
The Sri Lankan had arrived by Sri Lanka Airlines from Colombo this morning.
The three international airports made a series of gold seizures this month, most of them from Keralites returning from Dubai.
This is the first time that gold was seized from a foreign national.
