The 105th edition of the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) opened here on Friday, bringing together more than 200 participants from all over the country, and representatives from 17 States and nine countries.
Sri Lanka joined TTF Hyderabad as a Partner Country with a huge pavilion displaying the ‘Get Sri Lankaned’ campaign.
Ten private operators from the island nation Sri Lanka were here to promote tourism. Aiming to welcome eight lakh Indian tourists in 2014 with promotions focused on adventure tourism, beach activities and island tourism, Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines announced the launch of Malaysia Mega Sale at TTF Hyderabad.
Thai representatives showcased the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale, which is on from June 15 to August 15.
Egypt, Macau, Oman, Thailand and Malaysia are all seeking to tap the thriving India outbound market.
Andhra Pradesh, as Host State, showcased its tourism potential. Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Odisha are the Partner States. Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Meghalaya are displaying their latest tourism campaigns, promoting destinations and tourism products as Feature States this year.
Besides, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal are taking part in the fair.
India Tourism is participating in TTF Hyderabad, promoting nationwide destinations under one roof.
The US Consulate in Hyderabad plans to do interactive presentations on visa procedures for the travel trade fraternity on both the business days.
