Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has convened a meeting of District Collectors at Vijayawada on Thursday. Deviating from the earlier procedure of holding District Collectors’ conference in Hyderabad, Naidu has said the event will be held in Vijayawada.
This is part of the Government process towards decentralised administration. According to a statement, Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao directed the Secretaries to prepare notes focusing mainly on the mission of the departments concerned instead of routine reviews.
