After more than two months in power, the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will sit together and seek to sort out issues between the two States.
In a significant development, the State Governor ESL Narasimhan, has managed to facilitate the meeting between the AP Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, and his counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao, paving way for amicable resolution of some of the issues between the two.
Both the Chief Ministers agreed to meet on Sunday after they interacted in the presence of the Governor on Friday during a meeting they had in Raj Bhavan.
During the meeting, issues like sharing of all-India cadre officers and resources such as water and power are likely to be discussed.
In the past few weeks, Naidu has openly invited his counterpart for discussions. The recent AP Cabinet meeting also discussed the issue of inviting KCR for talks.
