State Bank of India plans to plough back proceeds of Bengaluru Midnight Marathon to its CSR activities in Karnataka.
The bank is the title sponsor for the marathon to be held at midnight on December 14 at KPTO-Whitefield, Bangalore. Ashwini Mehra, Chief General Manager, Bangalore Circle, said, “Veteran athlete Milkha Singh is the brands ambassador and the theme for the marathon is ‘Bhaag Bengaluru Bhaag’.”
SBI during the fiscal 2012-13 spent Rs 123 crore on various CSR activities as against the set target of Rs 117 crore,” he added. Deepankar Bose, GM (network I) and Nandini Rosario Rodrick, GM (network II) were present.
