(A fire broke out today at a powergrid of the Bihar State Electricity Board at Kahalgaon in Bhagalpur district resulting in the disruption of power supply to several districts of Bihar, official sources said.
The fire broke out at the powergrid unit due to technical problems, the sources said.
The blaze was, however, brought under control by fire extinguishers.
Power supply from the NTPC thermal power plant at Kahalgaon to Bhagalpur, Munger and Lakhisarai districts have been suspended till restoration of the powergrid, they said.
