The Coir Board is organising an international coir fair in New Delhi from November 14 to 30 with the objective of setting up coir production units and developing the market.
Demonstration of new technologies, organisation of national and international seminars to be handled by experts, workshops, buyer-seller meet etc are the highlights of the coir fair.
The Board is planning to find out voluntary organisations/ NGO’s who are interested in participating in the seminars and to set up units for manufacturing products using natural coir fibre thereby creating new employment opportunities.
