AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal will contest from the New Delhi constituency, the party said here on Wednesday. The
Delhi Assembly elections are expected to be held in February.
It was from the New Delhi constituency that Kejriwal defeated Congress stalwart and three-time CM Sheila Dikshit in December 2013. However, he faced flak for quitting after 49 days over the non-passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
On Wednesday, AAP announced eight more candidates for the Assembly elections. It has so far declared 59 candidates.
