An Investor meet in coconut processing sector will be held here on Nov 2, which will be inaugurated by the Kerala Agriculture Minister, K P Mohanan.
The main theme of the meet, being organised by the Kerala government agricultural department, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, Coconut Development Board among others is product diversification, value addition and processing in coconut future outlook.
At least 150 prospective entrepreneurs will be participating, a press release here said.
Technologies developed and ready for transfer to entrepreneurs by various reputed institutions, including Defence Food Research Laboratory, Central Food Training Research Institute, Central Plantation Corporation Research Institute and Kerala Agricultural University will also participate.
The concept and way forward for setting up of coconut industrial parks and bio-parks in Kerala would be discussed in the interactive session.
