An additional amount will be given to those who procure more husk than the prescribed quantity. The scheme will be implemented soon so as to ensure steady supply of coir fibre to the workers, he said

The government is aware of the problems faced by the coir societies and the government’s main aim is to equip the societies to become exporters.
