The fourth edition of buyer-seller meet will be held in Madurai at Maditssia Hall during May 8-10. Hundreds of organisations from all over India, both large manufacturers and public sector undertakings who are focused on outsourcing their requirements, both products and services, will participate in the meetsaid V.S. Manimaran, President, Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia), in a release to the press.
A one-day seminar on “Vendor development” on May 9and a seminar on intellectual property rights and awareness programme on cluster development on May 10will also be held and details about product purchasing and procurement procedure will be explained, he added.
The meet is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, The National Small Industries Corporation, Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd, and supported by Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance Bureau, Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation and Small Industries Development Bank of India.
