Railways will operate a special train between Mangalore and Chennai to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Onam festival.
A press release by the Palakkad division of Southern Railways said here that the train no. 06003 Chennai Central - Mangalore Junction super-fast special train will leave Chennai Central at 6.30 pm on September 4 and 11, and reach Mangalore Junction at 11.15 am the next day.
The train no. 06004 Mangalore Junction - Chennai Central special train will leave Mangalore Junction at 2.45 pm on September 5 and 12, and reach Chennai Central at 7.45 am the next day.
Nagercoil The release said that the train no. 06306 Nagercoil - Mangalore Junction special will leave Nagercoil at 9 pm on September 7 and will reach Mangalore Junction at 12.45 pm the next day.
The train no. 06305 Mangalore Junction - Nagercoil special will leave Mangalore Junction at 2.45 pm on September 8 and reach Nagercoil at 5.50 am the next day.
Tiruchi It said that the train no. 06801 Tiruchi Junction - Mangalore Junction special will leave Tiruchi Junction at 7 pm on September 6 and will reach Mangalore Junction at 9 am the next day.
The train no. 06802 Mangalore Junction - Tiruchi Junction special will leave Mangalore Junction at 12.30 pm on September 7 and will reach Tiruchi Junction at 12.20 am the next day, the release added.
