Telugu film superstar Pawan Kalyan, who is a brother of Chiranjeevi, on Friday called on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, BJP’s Prime Ministerial aspirant, here, in an apparent attempt to explore ‘cooperation’.
Kalyan, who recently floated his own outfit, Jan Sena, said he was yet to decide the Lok Sabha constituency he would contest from.
Asked about his meeting with Modi, he said he would extend “solidarity” and support the BJP leader for becoming the PM. “India needs a strong PM like Modi.”
Condemning the Congress Party’s “indecisive leadership” and bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Kalyan regretted that no politicians of the southern state could properly address the people’s concerns. “I have explained to Modi about the prevailing situation in my state after its bifurcation. I have come here just to ensure the well-being of my people.”
