A mega public awareness programme on diabetes is being held from August 10 -12 at the Lakshmi Sundaram Hall,Thallakulam, in the city.
Organised by Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, a World Health Organisation (WHO) Collaborating Centre for ‘Non-communicable Diseases Prevention and Control’ and an International Diabetes Federation [IDF] Centre of Education, more than 30 theme stalls will educate the public on diabetes-related issues.
There will be diabetes awareness and education lectures by eminent panel of diabetologists and eye specialists to educate the public regarding the onset, management of diabetes and associated complications. Entry is free for the public.
