A total of 600 kg of abandoned PDS rice was seized from unreserved compartments of two trains here, officials said on Sunday.
The seizures were made late last night from Chennai-Mangalore Express and Mysore-Myladuthurai Express by Food Cell Revenue officials led by District Supply Officer Durgamurthy following a tip-off, Durgamurthy said.
