Spanish firm Lladro unveils ‘Ram Darbar’ range

Spanish luxury porcelain company Lladro has unveiled Ram Darbar, a limited edition sculpture pieces at their flagship boutique here coinciding with the festive season.

Angeles Lladro, Vice-President of Lladro, who was here to personally introduce its new range, said, “It is a pleasure to introduce Ram Darbar just before Diwali. The evolution in our designs and themes is an inspiration from the rich heritage, traditions and customs that exist in India. This adds to the spirit of India collection.”

Ram Darbar summarises the best expressions of Lladro’s work and includes the highest level of excellence that the Lladro family has to offer. The sculptures of Lakshman and Hanuman capture the essence. They are depicted next to Ram. Ram Darbar is part of Spirit of India Collection and includes sculptures of goddess Lakshmi, Ganesha series, Radha Krishna, Lord Krishna among others.

Angeles is the daughter of Juan, the eldest of the three founding Lladro brothers. Lladro brand, which completed 60 years, has 8 boutiques in India and its artefacts are priced between Rs 3,500 and go up to Rs 1.4 crore.
