Work on the much-talked about GAME (Gaming, Animation, Multi-media and Entertainment) Park will begin soon at Raidurg near here.
The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) will call for tenders for in the next 15 days for the construction of GAME Tower.
Controversy shrouded the project following a legal dispute over the location of the proposed GAME Park. The Government has decided to shift the location to a different spot in the same plot to smoothen the process.
The Tower would provide ready-to-use infrastructure for small and medium-sized companies in the areas of gaming, animation, multi-media and entertainment, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information Technology and Communication, said.
The Government has asked APIIC to consider allotting 200 acres at Makavaripalem to set up an electronic manufacturing cluster.
