A few trains on Payyanur-Cheruvathur section will be regulated on August 23.
A press release by the Palakkad division of Southern Railway said here that in view of the work on the ‘road over bridge’ in Payyanur-Cheruvathur section, some trains will be regulated during 11 am to 1 pm and 1.20 pm to 3.20 pm on August 23.
Train no. 22610 Coimbatore-Mangalore intercity super-fast train will be regulated for 70 minutes at Kannur and will reach Mangalore 30 minutes late.
Train no. 22609 Mangalore-Coimbatore intercity super-fast train will be regulated for five minutes at Cheruvathur but will reach Coimbatore on its scheduled time.
It said that train no. 16606 Nagarcoil-Mangalore express will be regulated for 10 minutes at Payyanur but will reach Mangalore on its scheduled time.
All goods trains also will be suitably regulated, it added.
