A delegation from the UK was in the city last week to explore the possibility of establishing links in the food processing technologies space and met with a group of 30 industrialists, researchers and academic at the CII office. “They identified areas for possible collaboration, such as establishing a supply-chain link, cold stores, supermarket refrigeration and environmental control systems, apart from exchanging ideas on food processing technologies,” CII Chairman K Ilango said. The team also visited Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai and Mysore.
