The Gujarat government on Tuesday announced that the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry and US Ambassador to India Kathleen Stephens would be attending the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors' Summit scheduled for January next year as the US Government’s representative.
"They will lead the US industrialists and businessmen’s delegation to the seventh edition of Gujarat Government’s biennial flagship event," a state government communique informed.
The US India Business Council has already agreed to join the mega event as the official partner organisation, the state Finance Minister Saurabh Patel informed in a statement.
"Several CEOs of large corporations, including US IBC and Master Card CEO Ajay Banga, are scheduled to attend the Summit," he added.
The Minister said that as many as eight nations are participating as Country Partners, including a delegation of 90 from the USA.
