Victor Hospitals & Medical Services Ltd, a unit of the Alcon Victor Group, will launch on Monday its latest venture “Goa Ayurvedic Hospital” at Margao in south Goa.

The Alcon Victor Group is into tourism, medical tourism and in the real estate business.

The hospital is located adjacent to the existing Apollo Victor Hospital.

“This is an excellent situation where the patients can get the best of both Allopathy and Ayurveda facilities under one roof,” said Victor Albuquerque, Chairman, Alcon Victor Group. The Goa Ayurvedic Hospital is a 25-bed facility.

Albuquerque said that the facility, built at an investment of around Rs 5 crore, will specialise in providing treatment and arresting chronic cases for all modern diseases.

“We are determined to promote Ayurveda treatments and for that reason we would be conducting a ‘Continuous Medical Education’ not only to the 200 Ayurveda doctors in Goa but also to the public at large so that they derive the benefit of both systems of medicine to tackle individual problems,” he said.
