AAP has released its 12th list of candidates for 35 Lok Sabha constituencies, with nine each in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, eight in Gujarat, four in Bihar, three in Punjab and two in Rajasthan.
Fields Chandana Chakrabarti from Malkajgiri
The party has fielded Chandana Chakrabarti, who is well-known in cultural and scientific circles in Hyderabad, from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency. The constituency has emerged as the most attractive one in the State. The names of top leaders of political parties such as the Lok Satta Party National President Jayaprakash Narayan, Telangana Rashtra Samithi President K Chandrasekhara Rao, actor-turned-politician Vijayashanti and Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu have cropped up as likely candidates, showing an interest in contesting from this constituency.
This is the first list as far as Andhra Pradesh is concerned. The State has 42 Lok Sabha constituencies, 17 in Telangana and 25 in the residual Andhra Pradesh.
The other candidates are: Rapelle Srinivas (Nizamabad); Chinta Swami (Warangal); Regatte Venkata Reddy (Chevella); K V B Veera Vara Prasad (Guntur); Jaidev Injarapu (Srikakulam); E D A Chennaiah (Bapatla) and C S N Raja Yadav (Ongole)
