As it gears up to present the first ever exclusive Budget for Agriculture, the Andhra Pradesh Government will hold talks with the leaders of various farmers’ organisations on March 11.
“We will take their opinions on the constitution of the Budget. From our side, Ministers and officials of nine Ministries and departments will take part in the meeting,” Kanna Lakshminarayana, Minister for Agriculture, said here on Friday.
Earlier in the day, he took part in a meeting with Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy and officials of Agriculture, Finance and Planning Departments. The State will form a committee to ensure coordination among all the nine departments.
