The Alcon Victor Group, which has interests into hospitality and medical tourism, is poised to further expand in tourism-related activities.
Chairman and Managing Director of the group Victor Albuquerque told BusinessLine here on Saturday that he proposes to build a convention centre of 1,200 capacity and a water park. The facilities are slated to come up near the capital city of Panaji.
He said the convention centre is expected to cost around ₹50 crore and the group will scout for partners for his projects.
Group’s first resort Dona Sylvia in South Goa, which is currently celebrating its silver jubilee, recently received the ‘Hall of Fame’ award from Trip Advisor.
