Allianz Technology India has introduced five electric vehicles to their employee cab fleet of over 90 cars at Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram.
Allianz Technology India is a branch of the Munich-based Allianz Technology SE with over 5,000 employees across offices in Technopark here and the Eon IT Park in Pune.
Christof Mascher, COO and Member of Board of Management at Allianz SE, said that as a responsible insurer, investor and employer, his company aims to contribute to sustainable development of all markets it is present in, including India.
“Every initiative counts. I’m proud that Allianz Technology India is a first mover to operate an e-car fleet,” he said while flagging off an e-vehicle.
Ashish Patel, CEO Allianz Technology India, said that adding electric vehicles to the employee cab fleet is a big step for the company and in the right direction and exemplifies its green commitment as responsible corporate citizens.
Allianz Technology is fully owned by Allianz SE and was established in 2010 to bring to life-critical projects and services together with Allianz companies to ensure market competitiveness and distinction.
