The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, which met here on Friday to take up discussion over the AP Reorganisation Bill, has been adjourned today for half-an-hour amid noisy scenes.
The trouble started within minutes of opening of the session.
With the Speaker Nadendla Manohar rejecting various adjournment motions and insisting on taking up the Question Hour, members rushed to the well creating pandemonium. This forced the Speaker to adjourn the House.
The Assembly has been convened to take up discussion on the Bill and send it back to the President before January 23.
