The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly has been adjourned on Saturday for one hour amidst protests and noisy scenes.
The House met here today for the second day during the current session to take up discussion over the AP Re-organisation Bill.
The trouble started within minutes of House assembling with members supporting Telangana creation and those against shouting slogans and pressing for their respective demands. With the Speaker Nadendla Manohar rejecting various adjournment motions and insisting on taking up the Question Hour, members rushed to the podium creating pandemonium.
This forced the Speaker to adjourn the House for an hour to restore order.
The House could not transact any business on Friday too and was adjourned amidst similar scenes.
The Assembly has been convened to take up discussion on the Bill and send it back to the President before January 23.
