The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly was adjourned for the second day of the current session on Saturday amidst protests and noisy scenes over discussion of the AP Re-organisation Bill.
Trouble started within minutes of the House assembling, with members supporting the creation of Telangana and those opposed shouting slogans and pressing for their respective demands. With Speaker Nadendla Manohar rejecting various adjournment motions and insisting on taking up Question Hour, members rushed to the podium creating pandemonium.
Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy later hoped discussion on the Bill would take place from Monday.
