An emergency meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has been convened at 11 am here today to discuss fallout of the cash-for-vote scam and issues relating to phone tapping.

The Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to resolve against misuse of powers by the KCR Government in Telangana in tapping the phone lines.

It would also resolve and represent to the Centre for Governor's administration when it comes to Hyderabad, which was to serve as a common capital for AP and TS as per the AP Re-Organisation Act.

The cash-for-vote scam has resulted in escalation of war of words between the leaders of both the States and also foisting number of cases against Telangana Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted searches of residences of Revanth Reddy, Telangana TDP MLA, the main accused in the cash-for-vote scam, and two other accused Rudra Udaysimha and Harry Sebastian.

The case was lodged against the trio for alleged effort to bribe independent nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson and they are in custody and being questioned for last three days.
